Teddy Bear Clinics

This event will provide an opportunity for kids to be exposed to pet care and the role of a veterinarian through the repair of their stuffed animal! Children bring their own tattered teddy bear to the Teddy Bear Clinic for a check-up with one of our Veterinarians.  We will ‘patch up’ your favorite tattered teddy...or other stuffed animal! Services Available: Stitch loose seams, listen to the heartbeat, ‘splint’ broken limbs and apply paw print patch or bandage.  Click here to see the Certificate of Health that is given to the child to take home!

Corporate Health Fairs

We regularly participate in some of our local large company health fairs.  If they have Blue Cross Blue Shield or Avmed come visit for human health, they will include us to address pet health for the furry family members.  And we love to bring SWAG!

K9 Splash Bash
at Westside Park (H. Spurgeon Cherry)

We co-host this event with the City of Gainesville.  Planning has begun for the October 12, 2025 even.  Previously known as Drool & Ghoul, this event is always fun!  Costume contests, raffles, happy dogs, and a ton of community members that come together so they dogs can swim in the pool.

Bring a Vet to Career Day!

School Career Day

We can also visit your school for your CAREER DAYS, whether it's elementary, middle or high school.  One of our Doctors will visit and can talk about the schooling required or why someone might want to be a Veterinarian, or any specific vet industry topic, if you have one in mind!

Annual Charity Dog Wash

We are known for our amazing dog washes.  We have raised thousands of dollars to benefit the American Cancer Society's 'Relay for Life' event.  We raffle wonderful prizes donated from our generous local businesses, and this event features options for nail trims and ear cleaning...all to support this great cause.  We believe in being very involved in the community where live, work, and raise our children.

Senior Community Wellness Day

Did you know that we can visit our local Senior Communities so that good, consistent veterinary care is made easier for those that have a hard time getting their pets to the vet?  It all started when we met with The Village Senior Home to discuss making pet care easier for their resident pet owners.  Now, we visit on a regular basis, and residents just sign up by using this form
